“Automotive Productivity Nexus”



The Automotive Productivity Nexus (AutoPN) is a strategic initiative designed to enhance the productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability of Malaysia's automotive industry. AutoPN operates under the purview of the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), aligning its efforts with national development plans such as the Rancangan Malaysia ke-12 and the New Industrial Master Plan 2030. AutoPN aims to drive industry growth by addressing critical pain points, fostering innovation, and implementing best practices across the automotive ecosystem.



AutoPN focuses on various facets of the automotive sector, from manufacturing processes to supply chain integration, regulatory compliance, and technological advancements. By engaging with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and academic institutions, AutoPN seeks to create a cohesive and collaborative environment that supports the continuous improvement and development of Malaysia's automotive industry. This initiative is pivotal in ensuring that the sector remains resilient and competitive in the global market, contributing significantly to the country's economic growth and development.

  1. Developing Industry Profile For Automotive Sector In Malaysia
  • To obtain profiling of Automotive Supply Chain dynamics and provide actionable insights on challenges and areas of growth

    2.  Automotive Manufacturing Industry Gemba Walk

  • To verify and validate the impact of Productivity Step Up program towards productivity improvement of the participating companies and to obtain best practices from the companies.

   3. Developing Implementation Plan For Automotive                Productivity Nexus

  • To develop 3 implementation plans to achieve AutoPN’s goal on Increase Enterprise-Level Productivity, Execution on Regulations and ESG Implementation.
